Li Heping has been held in prison in China without access to a lawyer or family visits since July 2015. His daughter, six-year-old Jiamei, is still asking when her daddy will come home.

On Wednesday 26 October, we marked Li Heping’s birthday with a protest outside the Chinese embassy. It was so great to meet and pray together for Li Heping’s release, as well as hear a message from Li’s wife, Wang Qiaoling.

We also posted the embassy a petition signed by 2,148 of you, demanding Li’s freedom.

You can still send a letter to the Chinese embassy: in fact, this would be really effective at showing the Chinese government that the world hasn’t forgotten about Li Heping.
